BLOGGERS DAY 1

CHAOS!! Total chaos!

It was an hour of chaos in the computer lab because everyone was excited to do their individual blogs. There were a few who are totally NOT INTO IT! It hurts me to see these kids not even trying but hey! It's a free country! I have a feeling they picked the WRONG ELECTIVE! Oh well...

It was refreshing to see those kids who are loyal to me trying their best to do their blogs. But even more refreshing and encouraging are those with total indulgence into blogging and writing! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

...And so the struggle continues
NOISE EVERYWHERE!

sometimes, i wish i were all alone in this world! just for once! even for just a day!

seems scary but the noise is deafening! forgive me for my rant but, where's the inside voices? where's barney when you need him??

after i finish with my rant... LET THE NOISE RESUME!

Bloggers, Inc. 2012-2013

The Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu Grade 8 (HS-III) students started their Bloggers, Inc. Elective classes on Friday, July 13, 2012! FRIDAY THE 13TH! Isn't that ominous?? Good sign or Bad sign! Of course, it's a good sign!!

This school year's batch of bloggers promises to be a insightful bunch. I believe we will get this 1st sem batch interested in a new concept in Journal Writing -- Blogging!

Journal writing, at one time or another, was thought of as tiring and arm-numbing! I'm sure it still is thought that way even today. Well, Blogging will bring about a different attitude in a sense that it will be typed on a computer which will solve the problem about arms getting numb.

Blogs, which is short for Web Logs are quite popular these days. Here are a few stats to whet your appetite.

# of bloggers in 2011 - 70 Million
2/3 are Male Bloggers

60% are 18-44 years old
75% have college degrees
40% have graduate degrees
One in three has an annual household income of $75K+
One in four has an annual household income of $100K+

What do these stats mean?
A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE DOING IT!

So let's get the ball rolling and start reading our students' blogs!
